| At each meeting we offer a number of activities for the cactus & succulent enthusiast. Our activities are geared to both beginning & advanced growers. |
| Monthly Program: A guest speaker or panel will discuss different aspects of the hobby or present a slide show that will vary from a travel log of plant habitats to a specific type of plants. |
| Plant-of-the-Month: A mini exhibit where members are encouraged to show their plants, have them evaluated, and earn points toward an award given at our holiday dinner party in December. |
| Identification Table: Name or recover the name of an unknown plant. |
| Problem Plant Table: Get assistance with a plant. |
| Brag Table: Bring in your special plant to share with others. |
| Raffle: Purchase raffle rickets to win plants. |
| Door Prizes: Each meeting door prizes are given away. |
| Guests: New guests & visitors are invited to attend & receive a free plant. |

| Cactus Chronicle: Members receive monthly chronicle filled with information on plants, club activities, and more.....! |
| Shows: The club sponsors & participates in a number of shows throughout the year, Los Angeles, CSSA & Inter-City Shows. |
| Exhibits & Sales: The club sponsors & participates in different events throughout the year at Botanical Gardens, local malls, & garden fairs. |
| BBQ-Auction: A social event to relax, eat & participate in a rare plant auction. |
| Field Trips: Tour Botanical Gardens, shows, members collections, as well as nurseries specializing in cacti & succulents. |
| Holiday Party: December holiday dinner were awards are presented for high points in the "Plant-of-the-Month" competition. A plant auction is also held. |
